YLAV is looking for 20 students in middle and high school age for a youth advisory council.
Young Leaders Against Violence is a group of teens and young adults working together to prevent violence. They will meet a few times a month and organize activities to engage our community. They are a youth-led advisory council, which means youth are empowered to make the decision around how they think they can decrease violence in our schools, neighborhoods, and larger communities.
Meetings are held at the Kent County Health Department and
even better...students will receive a small stipend. $$$
