Michigan Women’s Foundation is currently accepting applications for girls entering grades 9-12 to participate in the Kent County chapter of Young Women for Change (YWFC). The chapter will meet 1-2 times per month on Sunday afternoon at Reagan Marketing + Design in Grand Rapids. There is no cost to participate.
YWFC is designed to assist high school girls with decision making skills and to understand social change as it relates to community problems for women and girls. The girls work as a team to determine and be a part of the solution. YWFC also has an overarching focus on empowerment and leadership.
